As human beings, we have a natural tendency to assign meaning to every experience and interaction we have. The meaning we assign is based on our own understanding and life experience to date. We’re all guilty of jumping to incorrect conclusions and assigning inaccurate meaning onto our experiences at times, and this hugely influences our beliefs about ourselves, other people and the world at large.
It’s our beliefs, for better or for worse, that act as an invisible foundation upon which we build our lives.
